A 19-year-old Healesville man had his car impounded last week for doing burnouts in the main street of Healesville.
Senior Constable Kirsty Swankie said the offence occurred the week before, but the P-plater was found as a result of community interaction and reporting.
“It was really great that people came in and were willing to provide information that we were able to then act on,” she said.
