WESBURN will host a day of old fashioned family fun this month with the Upper Yarra Family Festival.
There is literally something for everyone at the festival, which is hosted by the Upper Yarra Rotary Club.
The festival will be held at Wesburn Park with the club’s aim to raise money for a play area at the park.
Children can take part in billy cart races, three-legged races, tug of war, sack races and hoola hoop competitions.
The local football clubs, including Wesburn, Yarra Junction and Warburton-Millgrove will conduct ball games for Auskick, while more than 15 other community groups will show off their wares.
Big kids will also enjoy the classic car collection, Holden enthusiasts club and drag car club on display.
There will be a variety of food stalls, knick knack stalls and plenty of live music from the locals including a special St Patrick’s Day performance by the Healesville Irish Dancers.
The Yarra Ranges Road Safety awareness team will also be there on the day.
Yarra Valley Family Festival will be held from 10am to 4pm on Saturday 17 March at Wesburn Park.
