IN 2007 the Lions Club of Healesville responded to a call from the Healesville SES to help raise funds to purchase a Jaws of Life.
Coinciding with the tragic car accident death of local school girls, then a rescue operation in Healesville to release police officers trapped in another car accident, highlighted the cause, helping the Lions Club run a very successful public fundraising drive that was greatly supported by the community and the Australian Lions Foundation.
