Many more lined the towns’ main streets for the Anzac Day March.
Family members proudly wore the medals of men and women who served their country in the fields of war around the world.
Members of community groups marched with service and ex-servicemen and women and at the cenotaphs tributes were paid and heads hung as a mark of respect and gratitude as The Ode was recited.
