THE fine weather drew hundreds of people outside yesterday to stand and remember the fallen heroes from Australian history.
The Yarra Valley remembered its own heroes who never came back.
They were fathers, grandfathers, and even great-grandfathers of the community members who attended ceremonies across the Upper Yarra.
The Rotary Club of Wandin held a service in Wandin Yallock, the Upper Yarra RSL held a march and service in Yarra Junction and Warburton RSL held a march and service in Warburton.
