A course, of course

By Mara Pattison-Sowden
THE Upper Yarra U3A will include some exciting new classes, as well as some of the old favourites.
President Vernon Denford said now was the time to book in for term two classes, beginning on 2 May until 1 July.
He said some of the new classes included music appreciation, genealogy, aromatherapy and drama.
The U3A would also like to find tutors for future classes in Spanish, history, digital photography, Tai Chi and wood carving.
The Upper Yarra U3A is for anyone who is retired or semi-retired and who would like to keep themselves busy by learning a new skill.
Men and women, from 50-something age groups and above, can sign up to a course or activity for a one-off annual payment; however, additional costs for materials may depend on the course.
