THE Hoddles Creek Wombats won their second premiership in a row defeating Seville on 12 March.
The under-14s for Hoddles Creek made 207 with a great team effort. Seville batted out the overs for 125.
Hoddles Creek Cricket Club secretary Robyn Derix said the win capped off a great season with the team going through undefeated.
The match followed the under-14 Twenty20 and Super 8s competition with the Hoddles boys defeating Coldstream in an exciting bowl-off to take out the Twenty20 final and defeating Healesville in the final Super 8s at the Family Day at Yarra Junction – a clean sweep.
“Our under-12s also had a good season, going through undefeated … it’s been a successful season for the club,” she said.
Wombats make it two wins in a row
