DESPITE the remnants of Cyclone Yasi a day earlier, INXS played to a record crowd at Rochford Winery last Sunday.
Almost 8000 fans spread themselves out on the lawn, covering every centimetre of grass, with Healesville CFA volunteers parking nearly 2000 cars.
After Saturday’s torrential rain left the car park in half a metre of water, loads of crushed rock was brought in so Sunday’s show could go on.
Bad boy JD Fortune performed with INXS, while Train, Baby Animals and Sean Kelly also got the crowd on their feet.
