THE Yarra Valley’s 2010 debutantes and their partners were, as always, magnificent.
The Rotary Club of Healesville held its Deubtante Ball at York on Lilydale in June and Melissa McDonald’s (Upper Yarra) School of Dance held its annual Debutante Ball at The Grand in Wantirna in August.
Organisers said the debutante balls were as popular as ever in the valley and provided a beautiful night for the girls, the guys, parents and friends.
The Healesville debutantes were presented to incoming Rotary president Dennis Stanton and his wife Diana, and the Upper Yarra debutantes to Evelyn MP Christine Fyffe and then Liberal candidate for Gembrook Brad Battin, now the member for Gembrook.
