Rain of pain

THE Mail thought it was interesting that this week’s Pages from the Past mirrored last week’s flooding.
This week in 1930 Healesville experienced a monsoonal deluge, and 80 years later torrential rain struck again during the same week, causing problems in flood zone areas.
Downpours were as high as 100 millimetres in the Yarra Ranges last week.
