THE Yarra Valley Region was on show at last week’s Melbourne Show held at the Flemington Showgrounds.
Businesses from throughout the Valley showcased their produce at the Grand Pavilion.
All stalls proved popular with visitors young and old lining up to taste and check out the local produce.
Stallholder Rachel from Toolangi’s Giverny Estate said crowds of people visited the pavilion to get a taste of local produce, many excited by the quality.
‘People come down and get a free taste of what we are offering,’ she said.
‘Everyone loves a free feed, and many buy what they have tried.
‘It’s a great way to get the word out there.’
