A YARRA Ranges Sustainable Business Program has been short-listed for a national environmental award.
The program, run by Yarra Ranges Council, was last week named a finalist in the Banksia Environmental Awards to be presented in Sydney on 15 October.
Yarra Ranges Mayor Len Cox said the program had been wonderfully successful in strengthening local businesses as well as the environment.
The Sustainable Business Program helps Yarra Ranges businesses to profit from the opportunities offered by sustainability.
