THE Yarra Valley Ladies defeated the Knox Churches Ladies Force in a penalty shoot-out on Saturday 11 September.
It was the first time the Yarra Valley club had brought home a grand final cup after competing for seven years in the Victorian Churches Soccer Association League.
Coach Graham Williams said he was very proud of his team reaching that level of playing ability and each player was spectacular on the day.
The finals were played at Sweeney Reserve in Berwick.
