DIXONS Creek runner Dane Fencaros took out the eight-kilometre run from Healesville to Yarra Glen.
The annual Yarra Valley Grape Run was a great day according to race officials, who said with all the hills at the start the race was a bit easier than last year.
Fencaros, who won the 5km race last year, ran this year’s 8km race at 32 minutes and 45.1 seconds.
The winner of the 13km run, Kane Wille from Upwey, was six minutes ahead of the second-placed runner.
Wille ran 13kms in almost 41 minutes.
The long course began near the Healesville Bowling Club in River Street, the 8km course began at the TarraWarra Estate Winery on Healesville Yarra Glen Road and the short course started and finished at the official finish line, the Yarra Glen Recreation Reserve in Yarra Glen.
