On Wednesday, 15 September, Yarra Valley men will have a chance to catch up at Healesville with the man whose name is synonymous with integrity, credibility and success, and with other ‘blokes’ from around the bushfire areas at the ‘Blokes Night Out with Max Walker’.
Walker, nicknamed Tangles, played Test cricket in a golden era, played for Melbourne in the old VFL competition and has long taken centre stage in the sports media arena.He is also the author of 14 books, seven of them bestsellers.
The event, to be held at the Don Road Sporting Complex, is part of the Yarra Ranges Council’s “Blokes Night Out” series. Attendance is free and it is open to men of all ages affected by the 2009 bushfires.
