MONT De Lancey will include the cavalry in their battle re-enactments during this year’s Bastille Day celebrations.
The day will be full of family entertainment including traditional Can Can dancers, a marquee of French-inspired goodies to taste and buy, as well as clothing, arts and crafts, and French entertainment in the form of “song and dance man” Ced Le Meledo.
For children there are pony rides and face painting, and the kiosk will sell a sausage sizzle, hamburgers and other goodies.
Bastille Day will be held on Sunday 11 July at Mont De Lancey Historic Homestead, 71 Wellington Road, Wandin North, 3139. Strictly no dogs or alcohol allowed. Inquiries on 5964 2088 or download the program at www.montdelancey.org.au.
