THREE separate collisions kept Healesville police and emergency services busy at the end of May and prompted a call for motorists to drive more carefully in foggy conditions.
Healesville police, ambulance, CFA and SES were called out to Myer’s Creek Road on Saturday morning 29 May after a driver lost control of his vehicle and crashed down an embankment.
Earlier in the week police attended early-morning collisions in Don Road, where a vehicle turning out of Thomas Road turned into the path of an oncoming car, and on Maroondah Highway near the Healesville-Kooweerup road turn-off where a mini-bus and a ute collided.
Police have urged drivers to drive according to the changing winter weather conditions and to be especially alert when driving in fog.
