Head for new beauty high

ALTITUDE Hair Studio in Yarra Junction is promoting two new products for summer.
Owner Cathy McLean said the whole Altitude team loves the new technology which has delivered Global Keratin Straightening and Velocity Spray-On Tan.
“Global Keratin Straightening is so exciting as it leaves frizzy, curly and dry hair feeling like straightened silk,” Cathy said.
“There is no frizz or curl, in fact, the more damaged the hair, the more incredible the result will be.
“Even better,” she added “it can last up to four months.”
Cathy and the Altitude team recently completed Global Keratin straightening training in Armadale and Cathy has since had the service personally and says she is trilled with the result.
“I have had frizzy hair all my life and this is the first time I feel confident in humidity and rain and I save 20 minutes a day straightening out my hair,” she said.
“It’s great for busy professionals.”
Velocity Spray-On Tan is also a great new product the team is excited about.
“Being tanaholics themselves, the whole Altitude team have embraced Velocity,” Cathy said.
Cathy said the product offers a ready-to-wear tan which is achieved is as little as one hour for a light tan, two for a medium tan and three for a dark tan.
“There are no more bronzed sheets, unwanted smell, or waiting around,” she said.
“Just wash and wear in one to three hours and your healthy glowing tan is ready to party.”
Altitude also offers advanced colour work and colour correction, precision, fashion and razor cutting, styling, straightening, curling, formal hair up, event make up, ear piercing, party extensions, waxing services and brow/lash tinting.
Altitude Hair Studio at Shop 3, 2454 Warburton Highway, Yarra Junction, is open from Tuesday to Saturday and late on Thursday nights.
