TIE up your shoelaces and head to the Warburton Up and Running Fun Run on Sunday 28 February.
Known as one of the most scenic fun run courses in Victoria, it’s no wonder the Warburton Fun Run is now in its fifth year.
The courses are surrounded by beautiful mountains and the majority of the track follows along gravel paths around the Yarra River.
Prizes include luxury accommodation packages, cash prizes and generous spot prizes that also include a luxury accommodation package, supplied by local businesses that support the Warburton Fun Run.
Races kick off with the kids’ two-kilometre run and open 5km walk at 8.30am, followed by the 5km/10km fun run which starts at 9.30am. Registrations open at 7.am.
There will also be fun kids’ sprint events organised by the Warburton Primary School that will be held after the fun runs.
The Warburton CFA will be on display and some CFA volunteers may give the kids a run for their money in the 2km kids’ run.
Visitors are encouraged to come and enjoy the hospitality and friendliness of all the volunteers who come and support this event year after year.
