Spot-on meet for Grindleys

HEALESVILLE Greyhound Association’s pre-Christmas meeting on Saturday attracted a good crowd in perfect “picnic” racing weather.
Julie and Margaret Grindley. of Gladysdale, were among the winners on the day with their dog Spot On Rob putting in a big final burst to come in ahead of Sonnys Pride (4) and Stress Free Lady (1) in race seven.
Margaret is also Rob’s trainer.
Julie said he had won three out of his four races at Healesville.
“We’re very happy with his performances, it makes it a nice Christmas,” she said.
