ADANAC camp in Yarra Junction is giving Yarra Valley kids the opportunity to swap computers for camp these summer holidays.
Turbo Community Kids Camp aims to not only provide entertainment and a mini-holiday for kids but also some relief for working parents.
Nestled along Hoddles Street in Yarra Junction, the 13-acre camp has a 130-metre flying fox, lake, canoeing, 110-metre water slide, indoor basketball court and more to keep kids busy.
Camp owners Marcel and Betsy Edmonds have been working in the camping industry for more than 14 years and endorse camps for the personal, social and physical development they can provide a child.
“Camp is a great opportunity for kids to be in a healthy environment. They can explore friendships, play great games and initiate ways to express themselves in a healthy way,” Marcel said.
ADANAC’s Turbo camp will run two camps, Monday 11 to Friday 15, and Saturday 16 to Wednesday 20 January, and caters for two age categories, an eight to 12-year-old group and 12 to 15-year-old group.
Bookings will be taken up to the day before camp if places are available. Phone 5967 1594.
