YARRA Valley Racing Centre is gearing up for a festive December.
Their Christmas Meeting on Friday, 18 December, is already attracting bookings from corporate, social and sporting groups keen to celebrate the end of the year track-side.
A range of options is available with dining marquees, fully catered marquees, track-side enclosures and, of course, you can choose to just enjoy a picnic rug on the lawns.
People can pay at the gate, but for organised packages you will need to book very soon to avoid disappointment.
On Tuesday, 29 December, it’s the kids turn at the popular annual Kids’ Day Out.
It’s a great way to get the family together between the hectic Christmas and New Year weekends.
With lots of activities to keep the children entertained – a jumping castle, chair-o-plane, giant slide and organised games with Camp Australia – the adults can relax and enjoy the race day activities.
Take along a picnic lunch, or take advantage of the great range of catering options.
At $15 for adults, and with entry free for kids, it is a value-for-money family day out.
Both dates are thoroughbred meetings and the usual betting facilities will be available.
Yarra Valley Racing Centre is in Armstrong Grove, Yarra Glen. Phone 9730 1332 for details.
