Rape charges

A COMMITAL hearing date has been set for 22 February for two Healesville men charged in relation to rape and associated charges.
The rape charges relate to an alleged offence in Healesville on 3 July.
The men, 34 and 29, appeared at the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court for preliminary hearings on Friday and were remanded in custody.
The 34-year-old man also faces theft charges in relation to theft of cash from a Lilydale Hotel and a series of residential burglaries carried out earlier this year.
