MORE than 900 participants ran and walked their way through the first Yarra Valley Grape Run on Satu
Participants could choose between competing in a 5.2 kilometre event or the 13.7 kilometre run.
The 5.2 kilometre event started at TarraWarra Winery and the 13.7 kilometre run started at the Yarra Glen Hotel and finished at the Healesville Hotel.
The 920 participants enjoyed picturesque views during both events, with good weather on the day.
Mike Bond won the men’s 13.7km run, Simon Marcus placed second and Louis Rowan finished in third place.
The women’s 13.7km run was won by Hayley Todd. Isobel Bespalov came in second and Anna Francis received third place in the event.
Dane Fencaros won the men’s 5km run/walk followed by Michael McCumstie and Timothy Albiston.
The women’s 5.2 km run/walk was won by Amanda Branson, with Juliette Haddow in second and Brodie Smith in third place.
