The Brooker’s last quarter was great, kicking seven goals, but it was the scoreless second term that did the damage.

HEALESVILLE 15.27.117 defeated Wandin 13.4.82.
It took until the last quarter for Healesville to shake off a determined Wandin.
There was only 15 points in it at the last change and Healesville kicked a very inaccurate 5.9 in the last quarter to Wandin’s 2.1 to end up winning by 35 points.
The Bloods should have put Wandin away a lot earlier, as it wasted forward attacks.
Wandin, on the other hand, made the most of its opportunities and kicked accurately to keep itself alive for most of the day.
Healesville’s best: James Dunnett, Mark Gibb and Matthew Fraraccio. Wandin: Luke Watson, Geoffrey Bartling and Andrew Goodwin.

To Yarra Glen’s credit it could have flown the white flag, but instead played some hard-tackling, attacking football and outscored Olinda by a goal in the second term.
Unfortunately for The Thunder, they couldn’t maintain that form in the second half, as Olinda kicked six goals to one behind in the third, then six goals to three in the last to win comfortably.
