RINGWOOD split their weekend with a solid 10-point win over Sherbrooke at Monbulk in Big V basketball’s Youth League men’s division one.
Zac Haig with 21 points and 11 boards, Daniel Christian with 24 points and Michael Steller with 21 points all came up with a big game to make sure that Ringwood secured the win.
In fact Ringwood failed to score less than 30 points only in the second quarter, which showed up the defence of the Suns for the game.
For the Suns, Jake Driessen with 24 points and 11 boards, James Topp with 24 points and 13 boards and Dale Rohrmann with 18 points and 11 boards, all had a great game, but with the Suns turning over the ball 45 times in the game they were never going to secure a win.
