Future leaders

HEALESVILLE High School allows students the opportunity to achieve their best in a supportive, enriching school environment.
VCE results are consistently excellent. Most students receive tertiary education first round offers, allowing them to confidently pursue their future goals.
Students of differing abilities and interests are catered for through managed pathways via VCE/VCAL placements.
We also have a strong sporting emphasis with an on-site community pool, gymnasium and basketball courts. Healesville High School students are the 2009 Yarra Valley District Swimming Champions! Jamie Curtis and Tamara Groves (14 years) participated in the State Swimming Championships, with Tamara winning gold in backstroke.
Technology resources and other facilities continue to be improved in a staged upgrading process.
There is a new Science and Technology Building, new oval, newly equipped Media Centre, and a Year 7 Laptop Program.
The school also has an excellent music program – the Junior Saxophone Ensemble recently performed at Woori Yallock in a community bushfire concert.
Throughout their schooling, extensive student leadership opportunities are also provided.
Student Leaders have been appointed and presented with certificates and badges at assemblies.
