THE final round of programmed series cricket for the 2008-09 season was completed on Saturday with the second day of round 13 being played in the D.J. Strachan Shield.
Woori Yallock with 9/436 cc on the board from day one ( Andrew Sharp 114, Dallas Spencer 91 n.o., Kane Jones 5/103, Andrew Giblin 2/31 were determined to bowl against Mt Evelyn they did this to keep the home side to 8 for 279 cc – Andrew Giblin 60, Luke Jones 55, Andrew Sharp 4 for 58.
Silvan 217 Jason Lovell 59 Chirs Reynolds 40 defeated Launching Place United all out for 180.

Semi-finals will be played on the weekend in all junior and senior grades, with an association meeting being held Tuesday to provide the clubs with the details, the semi-finals information will be available on the association website from Wednesday by logging onto yarravalley.cricketvictoria.com.au.
