YOU can have your say on bus services in the Yarra Ranges.
A review of services in the Yarra Ranges is under way, as part of a State Government program to improve route bus services across Melbourne.
The State Government will work with the Shire of Yarra Ranges, public transport operators and community groups to identify how local bus services can be improved.
To ensure any changes to services meet the needs of local people, the public is invited to make submissions to the review. Community workshops will also be held in February.
Residents can make a submission to Knox/Maroondah/Yarra Ranges Bus Service Review, PO Box 2797, Melbourne Vic 3001 or email to metrobusservicereviews@transport.vic.gov.au
Submissions will close on 28 February 2009.
Public workshops will be held in Mooroolbark and Yarra Junction on Monday 9 February, in Upwey on Wednesday 11 February, and in Healesville on Thursday 12 February.
To register for a workshop, phone 9221 1952 or email sharon.rutherford@booz.com
