Mt Evelyn chased 142 runs off 38 overs and found it hard. Yarra Junction bowled ok to keep them 4/80 off 38 overs but bowled 51 extras.
In the end it was a good game and Yarra Junction ended up getting their 4th win to be undefeated.

In overcast conditions Wandin won the toss and elected to bat. L. Darwall and D. Haggar opened the bowling and restricted their scoring with tight, accurate bowling assisted by superb fielding. Then C. Darwall entered the attack and captured 5/63 to support L. Darwall 2/27 and D. Haggar 3/53. Wandin finished on 10/193 with S. Hasan 40, L. Selkrig 267 and S.Black 28 their top scorers in an even batting performance. Warburton-Millgrove look forward to an improved batting effort from their guys this week.

Playing Yarra Glen with only six players each day, Warburton-Millgrove recorded their first victory for the season. After being dismissed to 5/68 on the day with D. Anderl 24 n.o. and J. Brazier 2/18 and H. Dettman 2/20 the best of Yarra Glen’s bowlers, Yarra Glen was dismissed for 10/44. H. Irwin bowled superbly as did L. Smith 2/8. D. Anderl 2/11 and M. Bowman 2/1.
Thank you to Yarra Glen for providing substitute fielders and playing the game in great spirit and sportsmanship. In Warburton-Millgrove’s second innings they were dismissed in the last over of the day to finish on 5/123 with L. Smith 29, M. Bowman 21 and I. Andueza 17 leading the way. J. Bourke took 2/13 for Yarra Glen.
