FORMER St Brigid’s Parish priest Paul Pavlou will face trial in November on two counts of indecent acts with a child under 16, and with possession of child pornography.
The trail originally set down for 30 September at Ringwood Magistrates’ Court was adjourned to a contested hearing on 11 November.
Father Pavlou was parish priest at St Brigid’s for a year during 2005/06.
The charges follow a lengthy investigation by Lilydale CIU. Charges were formally laid in July.
