COMMUNITY playgroups can attend a workshop for leaders and parents to learn more about supporting children in a learning environment.
Two workshops in October, run by the Shire of Yarra Ranges in partnership with PlaygroupVictoria, will provide information about creating positive learning opportunities at playgroup and at home.
A music workshop will be held on 15 October, exploring the benefits of using music with young families.
There will also be and songs to enhance child development, and it will include hands on experience with instruments and vocals.
A literacy workshop will be held on 30 October, to help participants explore language and early literacy through words, books, and stories.
The workshops are for playgroup members only, and spaces are limited.
