Service manager Barry Cripps and parts manager David Harrison lead the eight man team which provides a full range of mechanical and electronic services for all makes and models of cars.
“Our advantage here is that we are hands on with all the latest Toyota diagnostic equipment,” said Barry.
“Our mechanics are trained across a broad range of disciplines and have the experience needed in today’s market.”
With two apprentices, Levi Carr and Rodney Harrison in the team, that experience is both passed on and built on.
Barry said Levi and Rodney also have the advantage of training at the Toyota Training Facility at Port Melbourne where they work on the latest equipment.
The team can also tap into on-line programs which are designed to provide the ultimate diagnostic information available.
At Healesville Toyota the laptop is every bit as vital as the toolbox.
Computers also have a role to play in ensuring a full range of parts is stocked. David said spare parts availability was vital in providing an efficient, timely service.
“We also get two deliveries a day from Toyota, another way in which we ensure we get the job done as quickly and reliably as possible,” Dave said.
