HEALESVILLE Soccer Club Ladies played Berwick in the second phase of the Gwen Wright Cup, winning 1-0.
A late first-half goal by Maris Rispoli-Yovanovic saw Healesville through to the next round. It was an excellent performance by the Healesville team, which was far too strong for the visitors.
A poor first-half performance by Healesville Seniors saw them come into the half time break three goals down and being overrun by the visiting Lilydale.
A different story in the second half as a Tony Deleo free-kick rattled the crossbar. The Healesville goals then started to come. Goals by Tony Deleo and Nicky Krstic (2) turned the game around.
Lilydale scored another and the final whistle prevented Healesville from at least a well-deserved draw. Lilydale 4 defeated Healesville 3.
