HARRISON’S Family Store is ‘just like a large retail store, but on a smaller scale’.
This is according to Sandi Harrison who started the business in 1998. It’s certainly the place to go when it comes to fitting out the family from head to toe.
With a wide range of footwear, schoolwear, workwear, fashion clothing and accessories, Harrison’s is a feather in Warburton’s retail cap.
One of the attractions of Harrison’s, in addition to the friendly service, is the wide choice of quality clothing at competitive prices and the opportunity to regularly pick up a bargain.
The shop is also an agent for French’s Dry Cleaning, has a sewing and sharpening service and has a gift wrapping service.
Sandi said the shop was what the township needed and that it had grown over the past eight years with the help of local support and some tourism.
She said she would be taking a back seat for a while and had wonderful staff to rely on in Lyn Shuttleworth, Kath Chisholm and Muriel Jonker.
“I will still be doing the ordering, bookwork and working on a computer system for running the shop more efficiently. So, as soon as this is sorted out, I’ll be back up front again,” she said.
