The aptly named Schwartzanager took out the top prize in just over 18 seconds, leaving his crowd of supporters ecstatic.
Owners Neville King and Kay Taberner received a cheque for $10,000 and a trophy, which they will add to their collection.
The three-year-old greyhound is becoming a fast favourite with many locals saying he is the best dog to ever set foot on the track.
“I’ve only been here for a few years but there are some locals that say this dog is it,” Healesville and District Greyhound Club manager Ken Hutchinson said. “He’s raced on this track 12 times and so far he’s never been beaten.”
