THE Australian Bee Gees Show – Stayin’ Alive is set to put a bit of Saturday night fever into the Yarra Valley’s wintry nights.
The show, which has been performed on the world stage, is the first of Rochford Winery’s Winterlude series of concerts to be held through June, July and August.
Rochford, along with Music Theatre Australia, has come up with a series which presents some of Melbourne’s best performers across a wide range of entertainment genres.
Formed in Melbourne more than 10 years ago, Stayin’ Alive features Michael Clift (Barry Gibb), David Scott (Robin Gibb), Wayne Hosking (Maurice Gibb), Mike Mitchell on drums and vocals, and Tony Richards on bass guitar.
Stayin’ Alive has captured the look, the sound and the personality of the Bee Gees in a show which has evolved to become the definitive live celebration of four decades of music written by the Gibb brothers.
Other shows in the Winterlude program are Cool Jazz with Nichaud Fitzgibbon, An Address to the Colony by Sir Murray Rivers QC, Wendy Stapleton with her hit show Dusty, Doris and Me, From Opera to Broadway featuring Pot-Pourri and The Pianist and the Diva with Stefan Cassomenos and Tania de Jong.
Single show only tickets are available but there are also three and five show passes and dinner and show combinations.
Tickets are available through Rochford Wines at Coldstream on 5962 2119.
