YARRA Ranges’ female residents no longer have to make the trip to Lilydale for their gym workouts.
Owner Shannon Bergamin opened Curves in Yarra Glen four weeks ago, after being a personal trainer for two years.
“Curves offers personalised circuit work, supervised by personal trainers,” Ms Bergamin said.
Women of all shapes and sizes are invited to come along to have fun and get fit in a supportive and friendly environment.
The Curves Program caters for all women and is fast, fun and effective.
The 30-minute workout combines resistance training and cardio exercises, which has seen women who thought they could never lose weight amaze themselves. “Results are really quick, in three to four weeks you can expect results,” Ms Bergamin said.
The Curves team are committed to a holistic approach to fitness that has delivered results for each of them personally.
“All our employees have worked out at other Curves, and enjoyed it so much that they couldn’t leave, and became staff,” Ms Bergamin said.
Curves Yarra Glen is also committed to supporting the local community and their families.
Inspired by employee Dee Cleary’s son who is currently serving in Afghanistan, staff and members of Curves Yarra Glen send weekly food parcels to the troops.
“Last week we sent 6kg, its fabulous support from the town for serving men and women,” Ms Bergamin said.
Curves Yarra Glen is located at 37A Bell Street, Yarra Glen, phone 9730 1853.
