HEALESVILLE Cricket Club has paid tribute to some of its life members in a presentation at the Queens Park Club grounds in Healesville.
Ten living life members were recognised for their contribution to the club in early February and came as far away as Queensland, Kalgoorlie and Swan Hill for their reunion.
“It was a bit of a special feat getting everyone together,” said one of the life members, Robert Nolan. “It was very good to see everybody and a good night was had by all.”
Club president Brent Watts presented life members with a certificate of achievement listing all their individual career highlights as well as a letter from The Cricket Victoria CEO thanking them for their contribution to community cricket.
