The clash between the two top teams could have seen either win, but after winning their two previous contests Alexandra had earned the right to favourite status.
Junction coach Joy Fletcher said she felt confident from the start.
“I knew the girls had the ability to do it and their attitude going into the game was so focused that they got in front and led for the whole game,” she said.
