TWO up and coming Healesville Soccer Club players have been selected to play in the Victorian Church’s Soccer Association (VCSA) Under 14s.
Daniel Watson, 13 and Trent Scott-Elsley, 14, were delighted to make the team which will see them play at a state level for the first time.
More than 60 players attended the tryouts from across Victoria with only 17 selected for a place on the team.
Healesville Soccer Club president Barry Cripps said it was great opportunity for both players.
“They’ve both done really well this year,” Mr Cripps said. “They have been with us since they were quite young and they continue to be outstanding players.”
The boys will play in the National Championship, being hosted in Victoria this year at Morwell from October 5 to 8.
