BALLOONS can transform an ordinary room into a party space.
That’s just one of the things that has driven Judy Tickell to become a balloonaholic.
Judy, husband Gary and daughter Andrea Tetley started Balloonaholics in Mooroolbark two years ago but they became hooked long before that!
They have been in the industry since 1990.
The thing they all have in common is that they love what they are doing.
“It’s creative and great fun,” she said. “You share wonderful, happy times with people, and some sadder times as well.”
At Balloonaholics you can get balloons for every occasion, from a new baby to a 100th birthday and everything in between – birthdays, engagements, weddings, anniversaries … even funerals.
Balloons can be personalised with a special message for private and corporate events and promotions. A minimum order of 50 is required.
Judy said balloons have come a long way in recent years with a huge selection of colours and shapes available.
“There are singing balloons for lots of occasions and we have even printed invitations on balloons,” she said.
Balloonaholics is not just about balloons however.
They stock a wide range of party goods and novelties including a new range of candles, which are a bit special. Dragons, pirates, fairies and butterflies will add a touch of fantasy to any birthday cake.
Another new addition is a range of old fashioned wooden toys.
“The children love them because they are colourful and fun, and the mums and dads love them because they don’t run on batteries,” Judy said.
