RAINBOW Meats in Chirnside Park has been awarded the Victorian Top Shop Award for Best Customer Service for an independent butcher.
The butcher received the honour at the Australian Meat Industry Council Awards earlier this month, and will now go into the national finals in 2006.
The award continues Rainbow Meats’ outstanding success as a leading retailer and follows two major honours at the Australian Retailers Association of Victoria Awards.
Rainbow Meats won this year’s Consumer Affairs Victorian Retail Excellence Award (Small/Medium Category) and the Herald Sun Retailer of the Year (Metropolitan Medium Category) in October.
Rainbow Meats proprietor Frank Russo said he was delighted with the latest win.
“Excellent customer service is fundamental to our business,” he said.
“If we don’t have satisfied customers, then we are not doing our job properly.
“Our business is geared to ensuring we give customers the opportunity to give feedback – which we take seriously.”
