What the Funk games

By Melissa Meehan
YOUNG people living in the Yarra Ranges looking for an entertaining and challenging night out can head out to Healesville Memorial Hall on 18 July for Friday Night Games.
Healesville youth events committee What the Funk has organised a night of activities for young people aged 12 to 25.
Youth Services Manager Martin Fidler said the Friday Night Games would appeal to everyone, whether their interest was in video games or live music.
Activities include bungy runs, inflatable sumo suits, table tennis, and pool.
“If you’re up for a challenge then you can enter the Twister and Nintendo Wii competitions and be in the running for some great prizes,” Mr Fidler said.
Local bands Phonik and Pat & Brendan will provide the music.
Free transport to and from Healesville is available through Yarra Ranges Youth Services.
The games continue from 7pm to 10pm. Tickets cost $8.
The events are fully supervised and are free from drugs, alcohol, and smoking, with a no-pass-outs policy.
