The Nightrider bus service from Lilydale will be extended to Healesville.

Police station

Marysville police station will receive $20,000 for an upgrade.

Ambulance services

A new ‘peak period unit’ will be established at Yarra Junction from funds of $3.58 million.

First home buyers

New homebuyers in regional Victoria will receive a $3000 incentive.

Tourism

A $35.1 million package will enhance Victoria’s profile in interstate and international markets.

Indigenous health

The Budget includes $2.1 million for the Aboriginal Health Promotion and Chronic Care Partnership.

Indigenous education

Literacy and numeracy, reduced truancy, and individual education plans will reduce inequality affecting indigenous Victorians.

Hospitals and health services

Health capital works across the state at a cost of $364.4 million. Additional money for new maternity wards, infrastructure upgrades at Box Hill, and design work at the Alexandra District Hospital

Parents

The shire is among 14 municipalities to receive a portion of $788,000 for parent groups and playgroups.
