LEARN how to pot up an orchid or get advice on how to start an orchid collection at the Yarra Valley Orchid Society Show this coming weekend.
The show, a popular annual event among orchid fanciers and the wider public, will feature wonderful displays of different species of orchids, mini display boards, plant sales and raffle prizes.
Members will be available to provide advice on growing for beginners and experts and Devonshire teas and light lunches will be available.
The society welcomes new members and meets every second Friday from February through to November at Woori Yallock.
The show is on Saturday 20 October from 9am to 5pm and on the Sunday from 10am to 4pm at the Seville Hall on the Warburton Highway at Seville.
