Making dreams come true

By Dion Teasdale
A HEALESVILLE Tattslotto agent has been recognised for excellence in customer service and sales performance twice in his first year of operation.
In August Sanctuary lotto proprietor Graeme Williams was awarded sixth place in the state for excellence in retail compliance and product challenges in his category.
He was awarded a plaque acknowledging the achievement which is on display in his lotto kiosk housed in the Healesville Walking Shopping Centre.
Last month Mr Williams was awarded a certificate of recognition for achieving one of the top five sales results in agencies across the Eastern suburbs.
“I’ve only been here for 10 months so it has been very overwhelming to be recognised twice in my first year,” he said.
Mr Williams, who took over the lotto agency in December last year, attributed his success to offering a friendly service and to treating customers as equals.
“I always have a smile for everybody, I try to make people feel special and I try to give each customer that bit extra.
“I believe this is what helps my business,” he said.
Mr Williams, who has more than 25 years’ experience in customer service, said he and his parttime staff, Meghan and Jade, were now focused on getting as many good results for the local community as possible.
“All we need to do now is accomplish as many number one first division winners as possible for the community,” he said.
“Everyone is entitled to dream about winning the lotto and we’re here to help make that dream come true.”
