SEVILLE batted first and Warburton’s opening bowlers got the quick breakthrough to have Seville 3/5 before they steadied to be 3/60.
However, skipper C. Darwall spun his way through Seville batting line-up taking 5/15 to finally dismiss Seville for 87.
M. Walker 3/21 and D. Hagger 2/23 were the other wicket takers.
G. Woodford 36 and R. Dicello 33 were Seville’s best batsmen.
In reply, Warburton are struggling at 2/27 with D. Troyan taking 2/10.

SEVILLE batted first in warm conditions and finished on 9/203 thanks to P. Dicello 72 and S. Luckhurst 34.
D. Egan captured 3/30 and A. Ireland 2/78.
D Grade
AFTER losing some early wickets against Woori Yallock, Warburton steadied when skipper R. Weiderman came in to bat and compiled a marvellous 105. He was well supported by R. McKail 26.
N. Worely 3/52, T. Barker, 2/25 and A. Abd Rabou 2/40 were Woori’s main wicket takers as Warburton finished on 258.
Under 16A
WARBURTON batted first and after losing an early wicket, Warburton put together several good partnerships highlighted by excellent running between the wickets to reach 6/162 against a good Yarra Junction bowling attack.
G. Morris 50 ret., and A. Calder 51 ret., led the way in very warm conditions. S. Sanders took 2/38 for Yarra Junction.
Under 14A
PLAYING Yarra Junction Gold, Warburton struggled before being dismissed for 85.
J. Coghlan top scored with 40 and was well supported by D. Anderl 23.
P. Ford bowled well for Junction Gold taking 5/3.

YARRA Glen batted first and scored 122 with P. Saunders 13 n.o. the top scorer.
Warburton’s bowlers shared the wickets with J.Winter 2/10, M. Wynd 2/4, M. Robinson 1/9, M. Bamford 1/15, and C. Roberts 1/13.

PLAYING Warburton-Millgrove at Warburton, Yarra Junction again lost the toss.
Warburton decided to have a bat and they got off to a good start with solid batting.
Warburton finished with 6/162 off 48 overs with G. Morris and A. Raldwell batting well, both retiring.
Best of Junction’s bowlers were Jamie 2/19, Jim 1/10, George 1/25 and Richard 1/4.
Under 12A
Junction won the toss and chose to bowl. Until drinks Junction were lazy in the field and Coldstream were 2/62 off 14 overs.
But at stumps Coldstream had made only 2/156 off 46 overs.
The best bowlers were L. Robbins 1/8 and K. Galea 1/75, while the best batsmen were D. Rilham 31 n.o and D. Sharp 32 n.o.
