Service team efforts rewarded

HEALESVILLE Toyota is officially ‘State Champion’ when it comes to automotive service.
Management and staff were celebrating last week after receiving the Category 1, Australian Automomobile Dealer Association’s Certificate of Excellence Award for Best Service Division at the VACC/AADA Retail Motor Industry Awards last week.
Dealer principal Ian Pollock said the award was a tremendous recognition by the industry and was particularly satisfying as it was judged against dealers across the board.
“We have been fortunate to win a few Toyota awards over the years but this was right across the new car industry so it is especially good news,” he said.
The award was also a well deserved pat on the back for service manager Barry Cripps and the service team.
Mr Cripps joined Healesville Toyota as a mechanic more than 15 years ago and has been in charge of the service division for the past 11 years.
Mr Pollock said, as in every other area of the business, Healesville Toyota takes pride in the quality of service offered to customers who have their cars serviced by the company.
The fact that the award criteria was very heavily weighted on customer satisfaction was also very pleasing, Mr Pollock said.
