Bonnie talent still bubbling all over

By Kath Gannaway
BONNIE Anderson is not expecting to come down from her very own “cloud nine” any time soon.
The 12 year old from Yarra Glen is $250,000 richer after winning the grand final of the hit Channel 7 talent show “Australia Got Talent”.
Eight performers, including a contortionist, a gum-leaf player, two singers and an illusionist couple, made it through to the grand final after hundreds more were eliminated throughout the heats.
The little girl with the big voice who won the hearts of audiences around Australia was tired but still bubbling on Monday morning when she spoke with the Mail.
Bonnie described winning the competition was “the most excitingist day of my life”.
She knew on Thursday night that she had won Australia’s biggest talent quest but was sworn to secrecy.
The longest days of her life followed – Friday, Saturday and Sunday when she was bursting to text, scream and sing about her amazing experience, she stayed out of the lime-light.
“I just had to hibernate,” she giggled “I couldn’t go to school, I would have told everyone.”
On Sunday night family and friends, including parents Connie and Peter, sister Kate and brother Matthew, re-lived the excitement of Thursday night.
“Most of the people already knew because they were in the audience, but it was just really fun to share each other’s excitement and have a laugh at what we all looked like,” Bonnie said.
